Yay for 3-day weekends! I Love the San Juan Mountains and want to spend Labor Day weekend in Ouray and hike Mt. Sneffles (14,150' elevation and rated as a difficult Class 2) on Sunday from Yankee Boy Basin. Most likely I will try to leave from Colorado Springs after work on Friday night (around 5:30ish) or first thing Saturday morning and drive back Monday afternoon.
People from Denver could meet me in Buena Vista and we can carpool from there. I will probably camp near Corkscrew Pass if people would rather meet there and come/go as they please (we'll work out details later depending on who's interested).
This will be my first Gociety adventure and am open to anyone joining.
